Senior Center Menu

The Carroll County Senior Activity and Wellness Center is located at 202 W. Madison Ave. in Berryville. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Lunch is served at noon each weekday. The suggested donation for ages 60 and up is $4. There is a $6 charge for those under 60 and all carryout meals. Breakfast is served Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Menus are subject to change.

Helm’s murder trial set to begin

The first of three defendants accused in the 2018 killing of a Carroll County man is scheduled to go to trial beginning Tuesday in Eureka Springs. Jason Hartley Helm is charged with first-degree murder and cruelty to animals in connection with the death of Chris Alvard, whose body was found in his home near Eureka Springs.
