Online application period opens Thursday for Giving Tree Grants in Carroll County
Nonprofits working within Carroll County can go to arcf. org/givingtree beginning Thursday, July 10, to apply online for Giving Tree Grants through Carroll County Community Foundation, your local affiliate of Arkansas Community Foundation. Applications must be submitted online by Aug. 15.

SENIOR CENTER MENUS
The Carroll County Senior Activity and Wellness Center is located at 202 W. Madison Ave. in Berryville. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Lunch is served at noon each weekday. Please arrive earlier than noon for lunch. The suggested donation for ages 60 and up is $4. There is an $8 charge for those under 60 and $8.50 all carryout meals. Menus are subject to change.

Carroll County Master Gardeners share 1st harvest with Loaves and Fishes Food Bank
In May, the Carroll County Master Gardeners announced their newest sanctioned project in partnership with the Loaves and Fishes Food Bank, called Come Grow with Carroll County where raised garden beds were built to help supply some of the vegetable needs for the food bank.

Berryville opens city pickleball courts
The City of Berryville celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony as Mayor Tim McKinney officially opened its City Pool Park Pickleball Courts. The courts, now open to the public, are located at 500 Basore Ave., adjacent to the Berryville City Pool.
