Mercy Hospital Berryville Auxiliary is now accepting applications for its 2026 annual scholarship program. The program will again provide two annual scholarships of $,1000 each to be awarded to deserving Carroll County graduating high school seniors seeking degrees or advanced training in a healthcare related field. This includes all Carroll County schools and home schoolers.

CS Bank appoints Shumaker to board
Charlie Cross, CEO of CS Bank, has announced the appointment of Mark Shumaker to the bank’s Advisory Board of Directors. Shumaker, a lifelong resident of Barry County, owned and operated Shumaker Tire in Golden from 1982 until his retirement in 2024.
