Mercy Hospital Berryville Auxiliary is now accepting applications for its 2026 annual scholarship program. The program will again provide two annual scholarships of $,1000 each to be awarded to deserving Carroll County graduating high school seniors seeking degrees or advanced training in a healthcare related field. Charlie Cross, CEO of CS Bank, has announced the appointment of Mark Shumaker to the bank’s Advisory Board of Directors. Shumaker, a lifelong resident of Barry County, owned and operated Shumaker Tire in Golden from 1982 until his retirement in 2024.
