Former CAPC director served in lawsuit

Lacey Ekberg, former executive director of the Eureka Springs City Advertising and Promotion Commission, was served Monday morning in South Carolina as a defendant in a lawsuit against several current and former city officials in connection with the CAPC. Ekberg, who has been using a different surname while working as the parks, recreation and community coordinator for Folly Beach, S.C., was added as a defendant in the lawsuit on June 2, by Eureka Springs attorney Tim Parker.

Senior Center Menu

The Carroll County Senior Activity and Wellness Center is located at 202 W. Madison Ave. in Berryville. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Lunch is served at noon each weekday. The suggested donation for ages 60 and up is $4. There is a $6 charge for those under 60 and all carryout meals. Breakfast is served Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Menus are subject to change.
