School district approved for $109,000 grant for greenhouse

Ordinance on building permits gets quick passage by GF council

The city of Green Forest will now require a clear outline of building plans before awarding building permits. The Green Forest City Council voted at its Tuesday meeting to approve Ordinance 655, which provides for the uniform presentation of building plans before the planning and zoning commission. Good Shepherd finds homes for six long-term dogs (Local News ~ 02/17/17)
Good Shepherd Humane Society is saying goodbye to some of its longtime residents. Shelter manager Sandra Mittler reported Monday that the shelter recently found homes for the dogs in Minnesota. ES council considers raising water, sewer rates
