Kids' fishing derby set for Aug. 25 in Berryville (Local News ~ 08/15/12)
BERRYVILLE -- The Berryville Children's Fishing Derby is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 25 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at George's Pond in Berryville. The derby is free and children between the ages of 1-15 are eligible to participate. Green Forest council leaves millage rate alone

Green Forest property owners will not see an increase in property taxes this year -- at least not one due to a higher millage rate. The City Council voted to maintain the millage at its current rate of 3.8 mils at a council meeting Monday night. "I had talked to folks about raising the millage," Mayor Charlie Reece said before the vote was taken, "and not a lot of people were excited about that."...
