Lady Highlanders take second at state golf championship (High School Sports ~ 10/12/10)
On Sept. 29, the Eureka Springs girls high school golf team made the long trip down to Conway for their second state tournament as a team. The course they played was The Greens at Nutters Chapel. Though the course was only 3,800 yards long, it had tight fairways, tricky hole placements, lots of hazards and plenty of chances to hit out of bounds. Needless to say, it wasn't going to be any walk in the park... -
