Lady Bobcats split two games

The Berryville Lady Bobcats split a pair of games last week, defeating Eureka Springs 57-11 on the road on Tuesday, Nov. 19, before falling to Valley Springs 51-25 two nights later at Bobcat Arena.

Berryville led 33-9 at halftime in the win over Eureka Springs, then held the Lady Scots to two points in the second half. Junior Hailey Howerton led Berryville with 14 points, including 10 in the first half. Classmate Kaylyn Smith made three three-pointers in the first quarter and scored 11 points and another Berryville junior, Tessa Johnson, also scored 11 for the Lady Bobcats.

Caitlyn Lester scored seven points to lead Eureka Springs.

Against Valley Springs, Berryville trailed 16-3 at the end of the first quarter and 29-11 at halftime. Howerton led the Lady Bobcats with seven points.

Berryville hosted Greenland on Monday, Nov. 25, at Bobcat Arena.
