Lady Bobcats pick up 2 conference wins

The Berryville Lady Bobcats picked up a pair of 4A-1 conference victories last week, defeating Shiloh Christian 52-44 on Tuesday, Dec. 19, at Bobcat Arena before hitting the road for a 54-37 victory on Friday, Dec. 22, at Huntsville.

Sophomore Kaylyn Smith made three three-pointers and scored 19 points in the win over Shiloh Christian. She had 10 points in the third quarter.

Sophomore Ella Miller scored 10 points for the Lady Bobcats while junior Taelor Tomlinson added nine.

Against Huntsville, the Lady Bobcats trailed 25-22 at halftime but outscored the Lady Eagles 12-2 in the third quarter to take the lead.

Sophomore Paige Thurman led Berryville with 15 points, including 10 in the second half. Smith scored nine points in the second half and finished with 12. Junior Kynadee Hopper scored eight points for the Lady Bobcats.

BOYS Shiloh Christian 50, Berryville 38

Shiloh Christian jumped out to an eightpoint lead by halftime and went on to a victory over Berryville on Tuesday, Dec. 19, at Bobcat Arena.

Sophomore Peyton Smith scored 17 points for Berryville, with classmate Noah Houghton adding 10.

Huntsville 66, Berryville 55 Huntsville led 20-8 at the end of the first quarter and went on to top visiting Berryville on Friday, Dec. 22.

Sophomore Peyton Smith scored 32 points for Berryville, including 12-of-13 shooting from the free-throw line.

Sophomore Noah Houghton added 10 points for the Bobcats.
