Huntsville defeated Berryville 54-38 in the first round of the 4A-1 boys district basketball tournament on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Gravette.
The loss ended Berryville’s season. The Bobcats finished 6-23 overall.
Berryville led 10-8 at the end of the first quarter but Huntsville outscored the Bobcats 16-6 in the second quarter to take a 2416 halftime lead. The Eagles led 39-32 at the end of the third quarter.
Sophomore Peyton Smith and senior Dale Nagtalon scored 12 points each to lead Berryville. Nagtalon made four of the Bobcats’ six three-pointers.
Senior Ashton Blok added eight points for Berryville.
