High school basketball fans are in for a treat to close out 2025 as Berryville hosts the annual CS Bank Holiday Hoops tournament beginning Monday, Dec. 29, at Bobcat Arena.
A total of 16 teams will compete in the boys and girls brackets in the three-day tournament, with the championship games slated for Wednesday, Dec. 31.
Defending tournament champion Bauxite returns and will take on Green Forest in a first-round game at 3:20 p.m. Monday. Berryville will take on Cassville at 7:20 p.m. that night.
On the girls side, Green Forest and Cassville will open the tournament at 10 a.m. Monday. Berryville takes on Mountain Pine at 6 p.m.
Berryville coach Brent Compton said he expects a competitive tournament.
“We’ve got a good mix of teams,” Compton said. “We really do, and we’re looking forward to it. It’s always a good tournament and you never know, really, who’s going to come out on top. Just whoever has enough depth and can last three days in a row.”
See complete tournament brackets on Page 12. Because of press deadlines for the Dec. 30 issue of the Carroll County News, tournament coverage will be published in the Jan. 6, 2026, issue.
