Deputies from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and other emergency personnel responding Sunday, Oct. 5, to a location on County Road 219 found a male in his 30s unconscious and not breathing in a vehicle on the side of the road, the sheriff’s office said in a news release Monday, Oct. 6. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, the individual was pronounced dead on scene by the Carroll County Coroner’s Office.

The City of Berryville has announced the First Annual Berryville Harvest Festival, to be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 in Pioneer Park and the Berryville Public Square.
