Carroll County Community Foundation, local affiliate of Arkansas Community Foundation, recently awarded 24 Giving Tree Grants to nonprofits working in and for Carroll County. These grant awards were hand-delivered by the volunteer members of the Carroll County Community Board of Directors during October.

Bring your friends and come play some games at the Berryville Library from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7. You will find games galore with lots of boards, dice, cards and more! (Just no screens at this event!)

Good Shepherd Humane Society invites the community to kick off the holiday season in style at the Annual Santa Paws Bash, presented by Little Bread Co., on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Inn of the Ozarks in Eureka Springs. Doors open at 5 p.m., promising an evening of festive fun and heartfelt giving in support of local animals in need.

Carroll County Farm Bureau will hold its annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, in the Green Forest High School cafeteria.

The Carroll County Senior Activity and Wellness Center is located at 202 W. Madison Ave. in Berryville. Lunch is served at noon each weekday. Please arrive earlier than noon for lunch. The suggested donation for ages 60 and up is $4. There is an $8 charge for those under 60 and $8.50 for all carryout meals. Menus are subject to change.
