James Evan McDevitt, a cherished family man, and friend to many, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Born on January 11, 1966, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to John and Clyda (Walker) McDevitt. James lived a life marked by love, dedication, and a warm sense of humor that endeared him to all who knew him.

Billye Sue was born on May 14, 1935, in Yocum, and she departed from this world on August 6, 2024, in her home surrounded by the love of her family.
Berryville council waives bidding for roof repair
The Berryville City Council approved an ordinance waiving competitive bidding to repair the roof at Saunders Memorial Museum at its regular meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 6.
