
The 2024 Pioneer Days Festival will be held Friday and Saturday, Sept. 20-21, in Berryville’s Pioneer Park.
Making sure students get on and off the correct bus will now be easier for the Berryville School District. Using a grant awarded last year, the district has completed the installation of a bus card scanning system, according to superintendent Owen Powell.

Joey Wendell Jones of Combs, Arkansas passed away on August 27, 2024. He was born July 12, 1964, in Leslie, Arkansas to Wendell and Jacqueline Barnes Jones.

Kathleen Hollowell Drollinger, 89, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and formerly of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024. She was born in Poplar Grove, Arkansas in 1935, was a graduate of Barton High School, and was retired from her position as a bookkeeper for Comley Construction Company in Fayetteville. Earlier in her career, she owned and managed Twin City Piano and Organ Company in North Little Rock, taught piano lessons, played piano and organ for her church, and was an accomplished dressmaker and seamstress.
