Several Carroll County students have been named to the Dean’s List at North Arkansas College for the 2024 fall semester. To qualify for the full-time Dean’s List, a student must complete 12 or more semester hours with a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for the semester. To make the part-time Dean’s List, a student must post a GPA of 3.7 or higher for six to 11 hours during the semester and must have accumulated 12 or more hours with a GPA of 3.7 or above.

Tommy Mason Stacey of Greenwood, Arkansas was born October 22, 1951, to Carl and Rita (Middleton) Stacey in Berryville. Tommy passed away January 6, 2025, in Greenwood at the age of 73.

Shirley Ann Doughty of Holiday Island, Arkansas was born on July 27, 1935, in Howard, Kansas, to Lawrence and Nellie (Forsyth) Thompson. Shirley passed away on December 29, 2024, in Holiday Island, Arkansas at the age of 89.

Jerry LeVaughn George of Blue Eye, Missouri was born May 2, 1951, in Green Forest, Arkansas to Horace and Norma (Stephenson) George. Jerry passed away January 15, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 73.

Ruby Joan (Wojcik) Heise of Green Forest, Arkansas was born May 8, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois. the eldest daughter of Steve and Ruby (Snow) Wojcik. She passed away Friday, January 3 at Mercy Hospital in Berryville, Arkansas at the age of 90 years and 8 months, with her precious daughter by her side.
