May 28 program to focus on ‘Finding Common Ground’

Are you concerned about the increasing division and incivility in our country and community? Do you want to see more respect and compromise in our politics? Would you like to learn how to have more respectful conversations with others of differing political views? Then join Braver Angels Arkansas, an alliance of the national Braver Angels organization, for “Braving Societal Polarization: Finding Common Ground During Polarizing Times,” from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, at First United Methodist Church, 195 Huntsville Road in Eureka Springs.

Standlee, Hood lead BHS Class of ’25

Ashlyn Standlee and Jaden Hood have been friends since elementary school, so however the Berryville Class of 2025 rankings ended up, they both knew they were going to be happy for each other.

Early voting begins on tax extension

Early voting will begin Tuesday, May 6, in a special election to determine whether the City of Berryville’s existing 0.5 percent sales and use tax will be extended by 15 years.
