Green Forest has a new mayor. Sort of.

Jason Tennant, president and chief lending officer for CS Bank, has announced the promotion of Sarah Villines to branch manager of CS Bank’s Financial Center office in Eureka Springs.

When the Berryville Lady Bobcats took the court against Blue Eye’s junior varsity on Monday, Dec. 1, in the first round of the Blue Eye Invitational, it was Berryville’s first game in a week.

The Berryville High School marching band had another successful season this year bringing home hardware from the West Fork Invitational in West Fork, the War Eagle Classic at Heritage High School in Rogers, the Bobcat Invitational and the ASBOA Region 6 marching assessment at Rogers High School.
The Annual Meeting of the Carroll County Fair Association will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at the Carroll County Fairgrounds located at 104 County Road 401 in Berryville. The purpose of the meeting is to elect new Board members for the upcoming year. If you have an interest in being a part of the Fair board please contact Regina Williams at 870-480-3479.
This listing includes individuals who have been booked into the Carroll County Detention Center. Charges may be reduced or dropped, and individuals are presumed innocent until being found guilty. As of Sunday, Nov. 30, a total of 79 inmates were being housed in the detention center.
