Jessie “Elaine” Alphin Rudder, age 80 of Holiday Island, Arkansas passed peacefully into the arms of her loving Savior on Friday, September 12, 2025. She was born March 7, 1945 in Camden, Arkansas to the late Jesse Samuel “Sam” Alphin and Rettie Fay Green Alphin.

Frankie Marie Bell was born on July 2, 1945 to James “Otis” and Pauline (Smith) Williams in Berryville, Arkansas. On October 5, 2025, at the age of 80, she was reunited in heaven with her husband of 50 years, Willie “Bill” Bell.

BHS band earns 1st division trophy with straight superior ratings

The Berryville Library will be celebrating its Friends of the Library group during the week of Oct. 19-25 as part of the 20th annual National Friends of Libraries Week.
