Cox joins CS board

Charlie Cross, chief executive officer of CS Bank, has announced the appointment of Booker Cox III to the bank’s Governing Board of Directors. Cox is broker/owner of Foggy River Realty in Branson and resides in Blue Eye with his wife, Dana.

Ozarks Chorale returns Sunday

The Aug. 8 blog post on the Ozarks Chorale’s website says it all: “We’re back! The clouds are rolling back, and soon we will be singing together again.” That post announced the end of the two-plus year hiatus of the popular choir due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Carroll County News will gladly publish death notices at no charge to the family which includes the name, age, where they are from and date of death. Paid obituaries may be purchased by calling our office at (870) 423-6636. The price is $50.00 up to 300 words; $100.00 - 301-450 words and $150.00 for 451 words or more. Paid obituaries also include a picture.

Senior Center Menus Dec. 6-14

The Carroll County Senior Activity and Wellness Center is located at 202 W. Madison Ave. in Berryville. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Lunch is served at noon each weekday. The suggested donation for ages 60 and up is $4. There is a $6 charge for those under 60 and all carryout meals. Breakfast is served Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Menus are subject to change.
