Sharon “Sherri” Darlene Marshall, born on September 9, 1946, has departed this earthly life, leaving behind a profound legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith. As we gather to remember her, we find solace in the knowledge that she is now at peace, embraced by the eternal love of our Heavenly Father.

Sherri was a cherished daughter of Margie Wilson Leeper and her husband Don, and Thomas Russel Bedsworth, and a beloved granddaughter of Robert and Flora Wilson and Roy and Ula Adcock Bedsworth of New Bloomfield, Missouri. Her journey through life was marked by deep familial bonds and a steadfast devotion to her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, step-brother Samuel Muir Jr., and her beloved daughter, Mandi Renee Marshall Chaney. In the face of these losses, Sherri’s faith remained a guiding light, offering her strength and comfort.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Bryce Wayne Marshall, who stood by her side through life’s many adventures. Their union, blessed on December 26, 1964, was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they embraced the adventurous life of the Rodeo Circuit for over 12 years, sharing this vibrant lifestyle with their daughter, Mandi. Sherri’s brother, Larry Bedsworth, and his wife Jane, along with her step-brothers, Jeff Leeper (Pam) of Fulton, Missouri, and David and Joseph Bedsworth of St. Peter’s, Missouri; son-in-law, Randall Chaney also survive her, carrying forward the family legacy. Her granddaughter, Kasi Chaney Nelson and great-granddaughter, Whitney Gene Lamar Wood, along with numerous nieces and nephews, continue to be inspired by her love and wisdom.

Raised in the heart of Missouri, Sherri’s early years were shaped by her education at Central School and her spiritual foundation at Central Christian Church, both near Fulton. She graduated from Fulton High School in 1964, where her spirited nature shone brightly as a cheerleader. Her zest for life and her infectious smile were evident to all who knew her. Sherri’s life was a tapestry woven with threads of adventure, faith, and love. Her passion for the great outdoors was matched only by her love for gardening, admiring flowers of all sorts, and fishing though she delighted even more in savoring the catch of the day. Her travels, especially out West, were filled with wonder and joy, reflecting her adventurous spirit.

A faithful member of the Church of Christ in Berryville, Sherri’s life was a testament to her unwavering faith and dedication. Her career spanned 37 years at Tyson’s Green Forest Hatchery, following her initial work at LaBarge in Berryville. Her work ethic and commitment were admired by colleagues and friends alike, and her presence brought joy and laughter to those around her.

Sherri’s life was filled with moments of joy and celebration, from sharing rodeo stories to dancing in the barn. Her infectious smile and laughter will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we reflect on her life, we are reminded of her deep faith and the peace she now enjoys in the presence of our Lord.

In this time of mourning, we find comfort in the promise of eternal life and the assurance that Sherri is now at rest, embraced by the love of our Heavenly Father. Her legacy of love, faith, and joy will continue to inspire and guide us, as we cherish the memories of a welllived life. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
