Mildred Ann Rothe-Clark

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mildred Ann Rothe-Clark. Mildred was born August 11th, 1947, in Warren, Ohio and departed this life on January 27, 2026, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas at the age of 78. She married Franklin Roosevelt Clark on February 25th of 1966. Mildred lived a life filled with love and laughter, her greatest joy was her family; she was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her four sons: Franklin Clark Jr., of Berryville, Arkansas, Mark Wayne Clark of Eureka Springs Arkansas, Arthur Jack Clark of Osage Arkansas and Leonard Darin Clark of Eureka Springs Arkansas. She is also survived by her step-son, LD Clark and wife Susan Clark of Eureka Springs, as well as her former daughter-in-law, Deborah Maxine Cauthon and three grandchildren, Jordan Jean Clark, Kathryn Ann Clark and Darin Franklin Clark. Numerous other family members including step-grandchild, Sarah Warner; sister, Rebecca Beddingfield; and brother, Ronald Ray. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Mildred is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years Franklin Clark, she never remarried and was widowed for the remainder of her life here on earth but there wasn’t a day that went by she didn’t mention him. Also preceded in death by her sisters, Laura Jean Rothe and Cheryl Palmer; brothers, George Rothe and Tommy Rothe; mother, Mary Rothe and father, Arthur Rothe; and step-grandchild, Jesse Clark.

In her free time Mildred liked to cook, sew, color, spend time with her family and watch her grandchildren grow up. She also liked to collect knick-knacks and vintage items.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt welcome to the staff at The Blossoms as well as Hospice Circle of Life.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 2, 2026, at Eureka Springs Cemetery with Rev. Tim Garrison officiating Memorial donations Mildred Ann Clark may be made to Good Shepherd Humane Society, 486 Hwy 62 E, Eureka Springs, AR 72632, or Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
