Sammie Jane (Sims) Booth, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas, was born January 8, 1951, in Harrison, Arkansas the daughter of Sam and Voda Sims. She departed this life on December 31, 2025, at her home at the age of 74.

Sammie was a member of Kings River Church. Sammie worked at Tysons from 1973 to 2008; she was a QA Tech in evis and then micro lab. Sammie enjoyed her family and friends. She always enjoyed visiting and catching up with everyone in her life. Sammie touched everyone’s heart that she came across. She was a kind and caring person.

Sammie was united in marriage on February 3, 1979, to Coy Booth, Sr.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Coy Booth, Sr.; her parents, Sam and Voda Sims; two infant brothers; maternal grandparents, C.V. and Sally (Cheatham) Burdine; paternal grandparents, Martin and Myrtle Sims; and her dearest friend, Wanda (Taylor) Walker.

She is survived by her two sons, Coy and Morgan Booth of Berryville, Arkansas, Charlie and Jenna Booth of Drumwright, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren: Emily Booth, Becca Booth, Eli Booth, Preston Booth, Dylan Jane Booth, of Berryville, Arkansas, Paisley Booth and Sammuel Booth of Drumright, Oklahoma.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 7, at 10:00 a.m. at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Burial will follow at Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery.
