Ruby Mae (Malotte) Garris, 77, departed this life to be with the Heavenly Father on Friday, May 23, 2025. She was born July 30, 1947, in Quincy, California, the daughter of Jasper and Reva (Beach) Malotte.
Ruby graduated high school in Blue Eye, Missouri in 1964.
Ruby is survived by three daughters, Terri and husband Richard Lander of El Reno, Oklahoma, Ann and husband Roger Stockton of Laton, California and Melisa and husband Curtis Farrell of Sparks, Nevada.
She is also survived by four brothers, Raymond Malotte, Royce and Sherry Malotte, Marlon and Pennie Malotte and Darryl and Christine Malotte.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by brothers George, Roland and Roy Malotte and grandson, Mark Farrell.
She was a proud grandma/ mema with seven grandchildren, Timothy Farrell and wife Amanda, Matthew Farrell and wife Christi, Joshua Farrell, Vincent Stevens, Gage Hooley and wife Cara, Kelsey Bell, and Ardelle Helms. As well as seven bonus grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 14 bonus grandchildren. Many nieces, and nephews and a lifetime of friends.
Ruby was known for her personality and her feisty, strong fighting spirit, and will be fondly remembered as a loving, kind woman. She loved the Lord and read her BIBLE every night. She has read the entire Bible many times. Ruby’s family remembers her as a woman of faith and joy, who always shared the good news of Jesus with others and always had a smile on her face. There has been a joyful reunion in heaven with Jesus and her family.
Celebration of Life will be August 9 at 10 a.m. Oak Grove Free Will Baptist. In memory of our mom, please consider donating to the Blue Eye Cemetery in her name to BEMC, PO Box 202, Blue Eye, Mo 65611.
