Mary June (Quinn) Crane, aged 95, passed away on October 4, 2025, in Berryville, Arkansas. Mary June was born in Grandview, Arkansas on June 12, 1930 to John C. and Gertie (Wood) Quinn.
Mary June was a temporary typist at Carroll Electric, where she worked for three years before becoming an engineer’s clerk. She also worked at the Historical Society and Home Health Care. Most important she was also a Homemaker.
She was the oldest living member of the Grandview Baptist Church. Mary was very involved in her church, including playing the piano, teaching Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School.
Mary’s personal life was surrounded by her family and friends. She had a passion for gardening, canning, cooking, and hosting family gatherings, which were always filled with love and laughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Duthu (Jay) of Eagle Rock, Missouri; daughter, Karen Crane of Berryville, Arkansas; son, Bill Crane of Berryville, Arkansas; grandson, Ryan Ellis of Mt. Pocono, Pennsylvania; many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, John C. Quinn and Gertie (Wood) Quinn; an infant brother; her husband, Howard F. Crane; her son, Alan Crane and grandsons, Jason Ellis and Jeremy Crane.
The family would like to make a very special thank you to the following people for all the love and care given to Mary June and our family. Blossoms Nursing Home in Berryville, Mercy Hospital in Berryville, Arkansas Hospice, all of our church families and Nelson Funeral Service.
We appreciate all that everyone has done for us.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Grandview Cemetery following the services. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Grandview Baptist Church at 1001 Highway 143, Berryville AR 72616 or the Grandview Cemetery Fund at 1204 Jefferson Ave., Berryville AR 72616.
