Martha Dean Sisco, 90, of Berryville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025. Born on October 4, 1934, in Clifty, Arkansas, to Melvin Baron and Dena Obenshain Graham. Martha lived a full life rooted in faith, family, and simple joys.
Martha retired from Tyson Foods after years of hard work and dedication. She found joy in the everyday – sewing, cooking, reading her Bible, and spending time at yard sales. A true “prayer warrior,” she was a woman of deep faith who loved the Lord and never hesitated to pray for those in need.
She cherished her family above all else. Martha was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, always happiest when gathered around the dinner table with those she loved. Her sense of humor, warm smile, and quick wit brought laughter to every family meal and gathering. She especially enjoyed hunting mushrooms and sharing stories, and she held a very close bond with her grandchildren.
Martha is survived by her daughters: Carolyn Sue Sisco, Lela Jeannie Sisco, and Maudie Faye Sisco; grandsons, Jim Evans (and fiancée Jodi Cook), Clifton Duncan, and Michael Duncan; granddaughter, Desirae Ham (and husband Clint); great-granddaughter, Arin Camp; great-grandsons, Collin Ham, Michael Ham, Jacob Croissant and Chance Evans; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, James Sisco; and her brothers: Lee Eddie Graham, Dale Graham, and M.B. Graham.
Martha’s life was a testament to love, strength, and faith. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unshakable devotion to her family and her faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 18th, 2025, at Grandview Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Scitern officiating. Memorial donations may be made United Baptist Church or Coin Baptist Church. Online condolences may be sent to nelsonfuneral.com
