CobbJoyce Rose Cobb of Holiday Island was born January 26, 1927, in Schulter, Oklahoma, to Jesse and Letha (Martin) Morgan. Joyce passed away July 8, 2024, in Holiday Island at the age of 97.
She is survived by her children, Florence Denise York-Carpenter, Artemis H. (Buddy) Cobb, Floyd Bohannan and wife Doris, Bobby Young, William Young; grandchildren, Jonathon Colby York, Monica Vanzant, Winchester Buckley York, Nathaniel Scott York; along with several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Letha Morgan; husband, Artemis Cobb; daughter, Gwendolyn; grandson, Michael Timothy York. Graveside service will be 11:30 a.m., Monday, July 15, 2024, at Fayetteville National Cemetery with Pastor Steve Ross officiating.
