Joy Lee Etchison (Joe), 84 of Imperial, California went to his heavenly home on August 9, 2022. He was born on October 29, 1937 in Carroll County, Arkansas to Troy and Ava Etchison.
On December 24, 1956 he married the love of his life, Betty “Snow” Etchison. Together they had four children, Debi, Ricky, Peggy and Joey.
Joy was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Ava Etchison; his wife, Betty Etchison; infant son, Ricky Etchison; brothers, Gene, Carl and Roy Etchison; sonin- law, Willie Severe; and granddaughter, Jamie Agnew.
Joy is survived by his children, Debi Agnew (Perry), Peggy Severe, Joey Etchison. Grandchildren, Joshua Agnew, Jenna Severe, Austin Severe (Daveline), Tyrel Etchison, Bailee Watson (Kris), Jocelyn Ortega, Courtney Baca and Lexi Painter; and numerous great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 10:00 at Moore Cemetery in Berryville Arkansas.
