Fredric (Fred) Herbert West was born July 16, 1952, in Berryville to Herbert and Freddie (Gensman) West. Fred went to be with the Lord February 13, 2023, in Springdale at the age of 70.
Fred was a member of First Christian Church in Berryville, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Carroll County Country Club (where he was best known for his Razorback golf cart) and Bobcat Booster Club. He had a long career in banking at First National Bank of Berryville, where he formed countless lasting friendships with co-workers and customers. But above all else, Fred was a man dedicated to his family, never missing an opportunity to spend time with his children and grandchildren – nothing on the planet brought him more joy than just being with them.
