I am honored to introduce myself to the community as your new Postmaster. My name is Leanna Britt, and I am very excited to begin this journey serving the residents and businesses of Green Forest and Alpena, Arkansas.
To this role, I bring vast Postal Service experience and a desire to serve. I started my career as a Rural Carrier in 2001 in Farmington, AR. Shortly thereafter, I transferred to a Clerk position in Prairie Grove, AR. Subsequently, I moved into management and served as Postmaster in Hindsville, Centerton and Huntsville before my selection as Postmaster of Green Forest.
As Postmaster, I believe local engagement matters. That means understanding the needs of our customers, supporting our employees, and helping ensure the Post Office remains a dependable part of the community. Whether someone is running a business or simply stopping in at their neighborhood Post Office to mail a letter or package, every interaction matters.
As the United States prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, it is a good time to reflect on the institutions that have long helped connect Americans across time and distance. The Postal Service is proud to be one of them.
I look forward to earning the trust of this community and serving Green Forest and Alpena with pride. I believe service is strongest when it is local, personal, and grounded in the needs of the people we serve.
Sincerely,
Leanna K. Britt
Postmaster
Green Forest, AR 72638-9998
