Faye Furlough Teague

Faye Furlough Teague of Berryville, Arkansas was born April 18, 1944, in Columbia, North Carolina to Robert and Francis (Mayo) Furlough.

Faye passed away December 25, 2025, in Berryville at the age of 81.

Faye served as a nurse in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1963 to 1965. While serving, she met the love of her life, Dwayne Teague, and the two were married on June 4, 1965. She cherished every adventure and every moment with her family, but nothing brought Faye more joy than the time she spent with her beloved grandchildren.

Faye is survived by children, Loren Teague and Rachel Karnes of Berryville, Keith Teague of Berryville, Scott Teague and wife Mary of Marshall, Jeff Teague and wife Amanda of Berryville; grandchildren, Steven, Nathan and wife Allison, Danielle, Abby Howerton and husband John Kyle, Ally, Weston; great-grandchildren, Alice, Andrew; brother, Bobby Furlough of Dunham, North Carolina; along with several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Francis Furlough; husband, Dwayne Teague; daughter, Debra Teague; sisters, Clara and Aileen Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro Billy McCall and Bro. Paul Leo officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to nelsonfuneral.com.
