LETTER TO THE EDITOR
After 42 years it is impossible to express my thanks adequately to all those I am grateful to for working with me. I hope you know who you are and accept my profound appreciation.
I must thank my two good friends and buddies who have been with me since the beginning. Mitzi Worley for taking care of me and all my business at the office and Carolyn Darling for keeping me straight in the operating room. With them watching over me all I ever had to do was show up and be a doctor.
A huge and heartfelt thank you to all who came to my retirement party. Your cards, notes, and gifts are so appreciated. Thank you to all my staff who insisted upon the affair. You were right as usual in keeping me from fading quietly away.
Thank you to all my patients who trusted me with their care and sometimes their lives. It has been my honor and privilege caring for you.
