Darrell Duane Stidham, aged 76, a lifelong resident of Berryville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025. Born to David L. and Ada Grace Stidham on December 18, 1948, Darrell’s early life in the rural landscapes of Berryville shaped his lifelong passions and grounded his love for the community.

Surrounded by the love of his family, Darrell was a cherished husband to his wife of 53 years, Lola (Phillips) Stidham. He was a guiding force in the lives of his son David Stidham, stepdaughter Gwendolyn Wells, and treasured the roles of grandfather and great-grandfather to Michael Kennelly and Mathew Kennelly, respectively. Darrell was the stalwart sibling to Leslie, Jimmy, Kenny, and Leona Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles David, Donnie, and William (Bill), as well as his sisters Mary Ann Herdon, Margaret Russell, Virgie Karens, Velma Edmonson, Mable Champlin, and Claria Maude Weston.

For 28 years, Darrell dedicated his life to educating future generations, instilling knowledge and values in the many students that passed through his classroom.

He was a skilled hunter and fisher, often found in the serenity of the Arkansas wilderness. Darrell worked on his farm, raised cattle, and cultivated the land with unwavering dedication. He possessed a passion for aviation and could be spotted soaring high above in his plane, embracing the freedom of the skies.

In his quieter moments, Darrell was an avid reader of the Bible, his faith a beacon that influenced every aspect of his life. He was an active member of his church community, teaching the Bible to young children and leading by example. His devotion to God was evidenced not just in words but through his many mission trips, which he undertook with the intent of spreading kindness and compassion across the globe.
