Cecil James White (Jim) passed away Friday, June 6, 2025, at Circle of Life in Bentonville. Jim was born April 9, 1929, in Moko, Arkansas to James Cecil and Vetus Haslett White.
This kind and generous man of faith will be remembered for his love for family and friends.
He married the love of his life on July 17, 1948, in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. Together they raised three children, Linda Gail White Neal (Glenn), Kenneth James White (Shirley), and Cynthia Deanne White (Tom).
He is survived by his wife of 76 years, Willa Mae Davis White; his daughters, Linda and Cynthia; daughter- in-law, Shirley, seven grandchildren: Rick Keyes, Jamea Preston, Jeff Neal, Abbie Turiansky, Ryan Neal, Cheryl White Tamas, and Kyle White. Also surviving are 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and sister, Freda Gray.
Preceding him in death were his parents; siblings, Jewel, Georgia, Robert and his precious son, Kenneth James White.
Funeral service was 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2025, at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel with Pastor Paul Woodhouse officiating. Online condolences may be sent to nelsonfuneral.
