Bernice (Lawrence) Trigg passed away June 11, 2025 at the age of 90 in Harrison, Arkansas. Bernice was born March 5, 1935 at Enon, Arkansas to Edward and Gladys (Badley) Lawrence.

Bernice graduated from Blue Eye High School in Blue Eye, Missouri in 1953. After graduating she worked at the Garment Factory in Branson, Missouri and was then united in marriage to Bob Trigg on November 23, 1955. Together they owned and operated a cattle farm at Farewell, Arkansas. She enjoyed going with Bob opening gates and working cattle. She loved gardening and working in the yard. She always had a pot of coffee on for family and friends when they would stop by and visit.

Later, Bernice worked at Green Forest Daycare/Head-Start and also worked as a teacher’s aide for many years at Green Forest School.

After retiring from school, she continued to work on the farm with her husband. She also enjoyed working the elections for several years.

Bernice was a Christian and attended the First Baptist Church in Green Forest. She is survived by her husband, Bob Trigg and one son, Kent Trigg of Green Forest, Arkansas. Two sisters; Joyce Brokaw of Oak Grove, Arkansas, Carolene Villines of Green Forest, Arkansas and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Edward and Gladys Lawrence; one brother, Gerald Dean Lawrence; niece, Marilyn Ann Davis and nephew, Melvin Dwayne Lawrence.

Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel in Green Forest. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel with speaker Kevin Robertson. Interment will follow the service at Farewell Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
