District Mission: Ensuring high levels of learning for everyone, every day!

“It’s fall, y’all,” and the end of the first quarter is almost here!

We have a lot to be proud of and acknowledge in the district this semester. Families, we want to begin by thanking you for supporting your child’s learning by prioritizing attendance. There were 93 students recognized recently at the high school for perfect attendance!

Sometimes we forget that the path to excellence and achievement begins by showing up and pursuing it each day, and we are very proud of these students for showing us how it’s done. (A complete list of those students can be found on this page.)

The Office of Educational Policy at the University of Arkansas released student achievement data this month. Berryville High School received the following results:

• No. 7 in the state of Arkansas for overall academic growth

• No. 4 in the Northwest Arkansas region for overall growth

• No. 5 in English Language Arts growth among all high schools in Arkansas • No. 3 in English Language Arts growth in the Northwest region Join us in celebrating the students and staff members for their dedication, hard work, and commitment. We are very excited about their success!

Middle school students were recognized last week during a school assembly for increasing their state assessment scores this last year. Mr. McClellan and staff awarded 268 students in grades 6-8 for that achievement.

Shout out to the third-grade teachers and students for a successful Pioneer Day with the Berryville Community Center. Teachers dressed up for the event and students reportedly had an exciting time learning and living out a day in the life of being a pioneer.

The Bobcat Academy (after-school program) is in full swing. If your child, kindergarten-fifth grade, has not enrolled yet, there are spots available. The program is FREE, transportation is available, a meal is provided, and students have access to tutoring, art, music, and fun activities.
