Milton Ortiz scored three goals to lead the Green Forest Tigers to a 4-2 victory at Dardanelle on Thursday, April 17.

The Berryville Lady Bobcats scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, then held on for a 19-17 victory over visiting Green Forest in a matchup of Carroll County rivals on Thursday, April 17, at the Berryville Sports Complex.

Green Forest senior left-hander Mason Meador faced 16 batters in the Tigers’ 12-0 victory at Lincoln on Friday, April 11. He struck out 15 of them.

It was a good week for Berryville’s Smith sisters.

Officially, the track and field meet held Friday, April 11, at Green Forest High School was named the Anstaff Relays. For all practical purposes, however, it was the Lydia Russell Runaway.

Kendall Gonce drove in four runs and Bailey Skelton and Haliegh Keith added three RBI apiece to highlight a big day offensively as the Berryville Lady Bobcats defeated Huntsville 19-4 in four innings in high school softball action on Tuesday, April 1.
