Green Forest’s high school soccer teams will share a common goal and a common rival

The Huntsville Eagles scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat Green Forest 6-5 in the 4A-1 district baseball tournament on Monday, April 28, ending the Tigers’ season.

Green Forest senior Lydia Russell won three events in the 4A-1 district track and field championships on Friday, May 2, at Gentry High School.

The Harrison Lady Goblins scored 15 runs in the final three innings to erase a 12-1 deficit and beat Berryville 16-13 in high school softball action at the Berryville Sports Complex.

The Green Forest Tigers celebrated Senior Night in style on Tuesday, April 22, scoring five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take the lead and then holding off Pea Ridge for a 9-7 victory.

Sophomore Lisbet Rosales scored two goals, including the game-winner with two minutes left, as the Green Forest Lady Tigers defeated Gentry 3-2 in high school girls soccer action Friday, April 25, at Tiger Stadium.
