Green Forest’s startling debut in 4A state soccer ended last weekend at the State Tournament. The injury-plagued Lady Tigers were eliminated by a single goal, then the boys fell 4-2 to Hope High School in the quarterfinals.

Local baseball, softball teams bow out in district tournaments
