FAYETTEVILLE — Expect to pay more for the Thanksgiving turkey as growers continue to deal with a potent and persistent strain of avian influenza. High pathogenic avian influenza, or HPAI, has been reported in 40 states as of Oct.
Grammy Award-winning Austin, Texas-based country music band Asleep at the Wheel will perform at the Eureka Springs City Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, at 7:30 p.m. with special guests, the Cate Brothers.
Hobbs State Park–Conservation Area will host a “Living Forest” event from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22. The event, ideal for children ages 4 to 7, is free and will include crafts, activities, and a guided hike. Visitors are encouraged to wear costumes.
