ES students help feed community

Some area families in need are able to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner thanks to the hard work of a group of students at Eureka Springs High School. Students with ESHS’s Future Business Leaders of America worked for approximately a month, collaborating with other schools and area businesses, to organize and put together their annual Thanksgiving food baskets.

Silver Tea returns Thursday

After a hiatus of nearly two years because of pandemic-related issues and precautions, St. James’ Episcopal Church of Eureka Springs will be conducting its 54th “Silver Tea,” an event that has ushered in the Christmas holiday season for over half a century at the Crescent Hotel.

Friends of Library selling raffle tickets

The Friends of the Berryville Library have begun selling tickets for their upcoming fall raffle. The “Fun, Frills, and Fanatics Fall Raffle” features chances to win cash prizes, a Razorback gift basket and a beautiful handmade quilt. The seven winners for the raffle will be drawn at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9. Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20. You can designate which of the raffle items you want to place your chances on when you purchase your tickets.
