Carla Youngblood Award
Butch Hanby is the latest recipient of the Friends of the Berryville Library’s Carla Youngblood Community Spirit Award. The award, presented quarterly, recognizes individuals who perform silent acts of kindness without expecting a reward like its namesake, Carla Youngblood, who worked as a librarian at the Berryville Library for many years.

The annual Carroll County fair association board meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the Carroll County Cattlemen’s building on the grounds of the Carroll County Fairgrounds. The purpose of the board meeting is to re-elect board members and prospective board members and 2023 officers. CS Bank announces new customer care center
Charlie Cross, CEO of CS Bank, has announced the upcoming addition of a Customer Care Center to further support the local bank’s growing client base and geographical footprint. The Customer Care Center, located within the bank’s Berryville facility, will be responsible for assisting customers with daily needs and questions related to their banking, as well as support ing the new video teller platform being migrated to by the bank in its drivethrus later next year.
