When Mary Howze organized the first Ozark Mountain Music Festival 10 years ago, the focus was on local and regional musicians and bands. “We were fortunate that we were able to build from local artists when we first started,” Howze said.

The Mercy Hospital Berryville Auxiliary is now accepting applications for their 2023 annual scholarship program. The program will again provide two annual scholarships of $1,000 each to be awarded to deserving Carroll County graduating high school seniors seeking degrees or advanced training in a healthcare-related field. This includes all Carroll County schools and home schoolers.
Creating a solid on-site mentorship program is to strengthen the culture of a school district. Teachers need to know that school leaders and other staff members have their best interests in mind and that a strong support system is in place that will increase success.
