Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge in Eureka Springs, The Wildcat Sanctuary in Minnesota and Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary in Canada, with the assistance of Humane World for Animals, have partnered together to secure a safe and permanent future for seven African lions rescued from a troubled roadside zoo in Canada, Turpentine Creek announced in a news release on Wednesday, July 23.

The Berryville Library invites all tweens and teens to spend some time unleashing their inner artists this weekend.

Thomas Primm will speak at the Green Forest Public Library at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 10.

The Berryville Library is offering special Playground Storytimes this summer. Working in partnership with the City of Berryville, the library is hosting a storytime at 1 p.m. each Tuesday at the City Pool Park and at 4 p.m. each Thursday at the Berryville Community Center’s Janet Clark Playground through July 24.
