Kerusso team members from eight states came together at the Berryville Community Center for the Annual Kerusso Chili Cook-off. The cook-off featured 23 contestants, 30 gallons of chili and a whole lot of fun for the 125 team members in attendance. In addition to drawings for 35 door prizes, the Kerusso team members participated in taste testing and voted for the Champion Chili recipe. The title of 2022 Kerusso Chili Champion went to ‘Over the Top Brisket Chili,’ entered by Marc Tell from Lexington, S.C. The first runner-up was ‘Northern White Chicken Chili,’ entered by Matthew Haley from Williamston, Mich., and the second runner-up was ‘Grandma’s White Chili,’ entered by Missy Dillow from Berryville.
