Equity Bank in Berryville and Recon VI veterans support group hosted their quarterly veterans recognition event on Friday, Nov. 7, at the bank. Pictured from left to right are Craig Kesner of Equity Bank, Army veteran Josh Moody, Air Force veteran Rodney Ballance, Army National Guard veteran Sammy Smith, Navy and Army veteran Glenn Andrews and Vince Eastwood of Recon VI. In addition, Mary Elizabeth Mischo received Gold Star recognition in honor of her brother, Army PFC Le Roy F. Schmidlkofer, who was killed in action on Jan. 12, 1945, during the Battle of the Bulge.
