Charlie, Evelyn and Jackson Martin of Green Forest stretch through the fence to pet sheep at the petting zoo during the second annual Pioneer and Heritage Days festival at Pioneer Park in Berryville. The event, hosted by the Carroll County Historical and Genealogical Society, returned last year after a two-decade hiatus. This year’s event also featured craft vendors, food, live music and area historians demonstrating pioneer crafts and sharing the history of Carroll County.
