Will J. Schell was born August 10, 1934, in Benton County, Arkansas to Lester J. Schell and Offa Schell Epperson.

He departed this earthly home on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the age of 89.

He was united in marriage with the love of his life on October 6, 1979, and they spent almost 44 years working hard, and after retirement, traveling the world together.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lavonna Helmlinger Schell; sisters, Dalene Toovey (Charles) of Staplehurst, NE and Patsy Graves of Rogers, AR; daughter, Regina Schell LeRoy of Stockton, CA; step-children, Laurel Ashworth, Greg Patty, Kent Patty, Deneen Foster (Terry) all of Berryville, Pat Galley (Robert) of Waxahatchie, TX ; grandchildren, Daelana Burrell of Oakland, CA, Tyler Ashworth (Crystal) of Berryville, Destiny Osnes (Jarred) of Harrison, AR, Ciera Foster of Springfield, MO, Darby Foster of Berryville, Josh Hamilton of Greenland, AR; great-grandchildren, Mason and Annlee Ashworth of Berryville, Bently Foster and Calvin Osnes of Harrison, AR and Abigail Marie Hamilton, of Greenland, AR.

Will was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Melony Gaylene Schell; and daughter, Kimberly Alesa Schell.

In 1983, Will became one of the first six Master Water Well Contractors in the United States having drilled for 43 years.

Being actively involved in his community was very important to Will and he was a two-time president of the Arkansas Water Well Association, president of the North Arkansas Beef Clinic (Super Cow), president of the Carroll County Master Gardeners, and a member of the Arkansas Water Well Construction Commission for 16 years. He served on the Carroll County Quorum Court, Community First Bank Board of Directors, Carroll County Fair Board of Directors and the Farmer Community Center Board of Directors.

Will attended Grandview Baptist Church and had given his life to God, thus his tired, old body is now made new.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville, Arkansas. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 18, 2023, at Grandview Baptist Church.
