Last week’s winter weather forced the Berryville Bobcats to shuffle their basketball schedule.
The Bobcats were scheduled to host Gravette on Tuesday, Jan. 9, but that game was originally rescheduled for Monday, Jan. 15, before eventually being played Saturday, Jan. 13, at Bobcat Arena.
Berryville’s game at Pea Ridge, originally scheduled for Friday, Jan. 12, was instead played on Thursday, Jan. 11.
The Bobcats’ home game against Prairie Grove, scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Bobcat Arena will be rescheduled. Berryville is scheduled to play at Gentry on Friday, Jan. 19.
PEA RIDGE 60, BERRYVILLE 20
Pea Ridge jumped on the Bobcats early, leading 15-4 by the end of the first quarter.
Senior Dale Nagtalon made a pair of three-pointers and led Berryville with six points.
GRAVETTE 66, BERRYVILLE 39
Gravette closed the first half with a 15-5 run to turn a one-point lead into a 32-21 cushion at intermission, then outscored the Bobcats 2911 over the final 12:40 to break open a close game.
Sophomore Peyton Smith scored 18 points to lead Berryville.
