StroudTimmy Douglas Stroud, 60, of Huntsville; passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, at his home. He was born Sunday, December 1, 1963, at Huntsville; to Harold “Butch” Douglas and Patsy Yvonne Fancher Stroud, Jr.
He graduated from Huntsville High School and attended the University of Arkansas. Tim was a farmer and cattleman, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Tim married Jennifer Rhew on Sunday, July 26, 2009, at Huntsville. As a devoted father to his son and step-son, Tim’s love extended beyond his family to embrace his entire community. Known for his boundless generosity, he never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His selflessness knew no bounds, consistently placing others before himself. Despite his imposing stature, Tim possessed a heart as tender as it was vast, and was a true “gentle giant.” In his spare time, Tim enjoyed hunting and fishing; and he cherished moments spent in the company of friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, “Butch” Stroud. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Stroud, of the home; his mother, Pat Stroud, of Huntsville; one son and daughterin- law, O’Shay and Harleen Stroud, of Rogers; one stepson and daughter- in-law, Justin and Haylee Tucker, of Huntsville; and two grandchildren, Kade Stroud, and Rip Stroud, both of Rogers. He is also survived by his grandmother, Margie Fancher, of Dean; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Stroud Family Farm, Madison County Road 2125, Huntsville, AR 72740. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m., with Keith Kluthe and Craig Villines officiating. Pallbearers will be O’Shay Stroud, Justin Tucker, Joe Pat Youngblood, Bobby Wilson, Jerry Bill Weathers, and Randy Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry McCoy, Rick Gurley, David Cline, James Fancher, Jim Wilson, Hap Perry, Bob Bolinger, Charles Gurley, and Patrick Taylor. Interment will immediately follow services at Aurora Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
